Follow these instructions if you'd like to request a specific item compared to making a title level request.  When you normally place a request in Alma, you have to place it at the title level and Alma determines which items can be requested based on the patron type and item availability.  However, if you want to specify which item to request, you can follow the instructions below

Important: You must first copy the barcode for the specific item you want to request by conducting a title search.
