Open the Manage Patron Services Screen

Open the Manage Patron Services Screen

Under Fulfillment and Checkout/Checkin select Manage Patron Services.

Find the patron's account

Find the patron's account
  • Type in patron's name
  • Scan ID
  • Type in account number

Select the Requests tab

Select the Requests tab

Cancel the hold

Cancel the hold

Under the appropriate item in the list, select Actions, then Cancel.

Select reason and confirm

Select reason and confirm

For Cancellation reason, select Patron no longer interested. OPTIONAL: Notify user.

Check in and route item

The item must be checked in TWICE to remove from "Hold Shelf" status.
