Collaborative repository of Emory University Libraries documentation with a focus on Ex Libris's Alma.

Documentation that is general enough to apply to any EUL library will be named by activity, e.g. Suppress a Bib Record; documentation that represents a library's specific, local practice will be preceded by the short name of the library, e.g. Woodruff - Gift Book Collections.

OCLC Client Set Up (Production)

Options

After you install the OCLC Client sign in and open the Options menu.

Create a new export connection.

Choose OCLC Gateway Export

Enter

HostName: na03.alma.exlibrisgroup.com
Port: 5500
Logon Id: 01GALI_EMORY (after you check Send Local System Logon Id and Password)
Password: contact Core Services

Click Ok and click through to apply

Once you have set up the gateway make sure to change the export to UTF-8

If the "Choose OCLC Gateway Export" step results in an error message indicating that the logon and/or password are not correct (and you've confirmed that they are), try restarting the computer.
