Declaring Items for Searches
Declare Item Missing 1
Search for the item, then open the item menu by clicking "Items."
Declare Item Missing 2
To declare an item missing, click the Actions button next to the item and select "Toggle Missing Status."
Declare Item Missing 3 - Patron Request
If the patron wishes to be notified when the item is found, you will need to add a fulfillment note to the item.
The first step to doing this is to open the item by going to Actions > Edit.
Declare Item Missing 4 - Patron Request
Go to the Notes tab.
Declare Item Missing 5 - Patron Request
Add a fulfillment note with the word "missing," today's date, and the patron's name and ID number.
Then click "Save."
Declare an Item Claimed Returned or Lost 1
Open the patron's account and locate the item to be claimed or lost.
Then, click the Actions button next to the item and select "Lost" or "Claimed Return."
Declare an Item Claimed Returned or Lost 2
A lost item will automatically bill the patron according to the item type.
Declare an Item Claimed Returned or Lost 3
A claimed returned item will ask for a note.
This is not required.
