Force Import a Print Serial Bib that Dupes a CKB Record
This workflow will import an OCLC record to Alma that would otherwise get kicked out because it matches the 035 of an existing CKB record.
- To start, you need to set up a local export folder in Connexion. (Each time you want to use this workflow, you'll need to change your Export setting to default to this folder. Likewise, after you're done with the workflow, you'll need to change your Export setting back to Gateway Export to switch back to using the "normal" Connexion/Alma export method.)
- You'll export OCLC bibs to this local .dat folder.
- Then you'll import this .dat file of your exported bib(s) into Alma using the "UNIV Print Serial CKB Dupe" import profile.
