DVDs and CDs that fall outside the number ranges specified below are assigned MUSME MEDIAOSIZE location.
Measurements for oversize CDs
- CD case that falls within the number ranges specified below can be shelved with the regular collection.
- Horizontal measurement (max 20 cm) is the depth, and the vertical measurement (max 15 cm) is the height.
- CD cases can be rotated 90 degrees to allow them to fit on the shelves in the regular CD collection (example below).
- CD cases over 20 cm would automatically be considered oversize (height or depth)
- If the height and depth are both greater than 15 cm, the item would qualify as oversize.
Measurements for oversize videorecordings (DVD, Blu-Ray)
- DVD case that falls within the number ranges specified below can be shelved with the regular collection.
- Horizontal measurement (max 22 cm) is the depth, and the vertical measurement (max 22 cm) is the height.
- DVD cases can be rotated 90 degrees to allow them to fit on the shelves in the regular DVD collection (example below).
- DVD cases over 22 cm would automatically be considered oversize (height or depth)
- If the height and depth are both greater than 20 cm, the item would qualify as oversize.
